Doctor Frederick J. Lacey is a graduate of Colgate University with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and 1980 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine & Dentistry. In 1981 he completed a post-doctoral residency in General Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center of the University of Rochester. In addition to clinical practice while at the Eastman Dental Center, Dr. Lacey participated in research (gnathological studies of the human dentition) and clinical trials of emerging restorative materials and techniques. |
| Dr. Lacey began his practice of General & Family Dentistry in 1981 in his hometown of Binghamton, NY, joining his father, Dr. Robert Lacey, who is also a graduate of Colgate University and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Frederick Lacey has been Chairman of the National Children's Dental Health Month for the 6th District Dental Society, served on the Broome County Recruitment Committee for the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped, and participated on Executive Committees of the Broome County Dental Society for eight years. In 1997, Dr. Lacey was President of the Broome County Dental Society. He currently holds professional memberships in the American Dental Association the New York Dental Association, the Sixth District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry where he is Fellowship Eligible. |
| In addition to serving the Dental Community, Dr. Lacey has been a member of the Tri-Cities Opera Board for 18 years, and has served on various committees for United Way of Broome County, the Boy Scouts of America Baden-Powell Council, Harpur Forum of Binghamton University, Colgate University Alumni Association, Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, and the Broome Library Foundation. Dr. Lacey is an avid snow skier, skeet shooter, golfer, and bowler. |
